Meet BEAtrice
Horsewoman. Stablehand. Dog-lover. Artist. Small-business owner.
I’ve always had an affinity for working with horses and other animals.
I’ve spent the better part of the last 15 years working with farms across the state of Maine to increase my knowledge and become a well-rounded horsewoman, in my own right.
When I discovered Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Fields, PEMF, for Animals, I realized I could combine my passion for human-animal relationships with my commitment to holistic health and community.
I spent the summer of 2024 in Redmond, Oregon, working at Thunderbird Ranch, a professional western show barn and training facility, as a farm-hand while also becoming a certified practitioner of PEMF for equines and other four-legged friends. I was able to delve deep into learning how to use this wellness tool to support these amazing animals in their everyday training, work, and overall quality of life.
What is pEMF?
PEMF is a non-invasive holistic health therapy that helps promote the body's natural ability to heal. By utilizing Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields, it supercharges the body's cells, sending that energy to places that need support. This technology helps reduce recovery time after exercise, increases blood flow, promotes relaxation, and especially provides joint-support for our four legged friends.
What does a full body session look like?
I use large loops, connected to the pulse machine, and place them strategically on the body of your horse, cow, donkey, sheep, or other larger animal. For smaller animals, I use the small bed attachment which creates a supportive surface for your animal to rest while they are being treated.
As I treat larger areas of their body, I observe their behavior for signs of release which indicates to me that its time to shift the loops to the next part of their body.
What about a more targeted session?
During these focused 30 minute sessions, I place smaller loops on and around the problem area of your animal.
